Stefan! What unique perspectives or insights do you offer Nordic Legal Tech Day?
I believe the two things that makes PSA unique in a Legal Tech context are our solid Enterprise Tech background – we have experience from working with the largest professional services organisations (including law firms) in Europe and working with the most complex solutions and processes in those organisation’s tech stack, as well as the breadth of our Legal Tech solution portfolio where you’ll find everything from ERP/Practice Management solutions, integration as a service, document and email management solutions (i.e., iManage), as well as Legal AI and AI-powered Legal Tech solutions.
What discussions or trends are you eager to explore with fellow participants?
Obviously AI is all the rage and have been for some time now. We are specifically interested in the intersection between integration strategies, grounding data and AI, and how you can unleash the collective knowledge stored in the organisation’s various tech solutions to enable solid, secure and pervasive AI capabilities. We are exploring and developing these kind of solutions both from an iManage and a broader enterprise technology perspective.
Could you offer a glimpse into what participants can anticipate from your presentation or workshop during the event?
There will be some AI related topics in there for sure. But we will share some perspectives that goes beyond the ”run of the mill” Generative AI solutions. What happens when your AI solution of choice can combine cohesive data from your CRM, ERP and time tracking systems with the curated knowledge data in your knowledge platform? We don’t only want to help the fee earner create work product more efficiently, we want to help law firms and in-house legal teams run their business and create sustainable competitive advantages.
How will legal tech shape Nordic legal practice, and how does Nordic Legal Tech Day contribute to this evolution?
It is safe to say that Legal Tech over time will change legal practice as we know it. We will not only see faster horses in the future, but also EVs and carbon-neutral rocket ships. We attend a lot of Legal Tech events all over Europe, and Nordic Legal Tech Day is definitely one of the events we always look forward to, not only because it is on our home turf, but the level of speakers, Legal Tech enthusiasts attending, and knowledge sharing in general is just great. And the Start-up pitch competition is always a real joy to watch.
As a speaker at Nordic Legal Tech Day, what central message or key lesson do you aim for attendees to take away following their interaction with your presentation or session?
Legal Tech solutions in general, and Legal AI solutions in particular needs to be built from the ground up. This is something we focus on both from an iManage AI perspective, and for our own Custodian AI solution. Your output or work product will never be better than the data foundation used in the production process.
