In-house counsels, lawyers, tech companies, start-ups and investors – they all met for a full day of interactions and discussions about legal tech, digitization and the future role of the lawyers. The event was hosted by LegalWorks for the third time.
“We have doubled the numbers each year since we started this event three yeras ago. The interest for legaltech is clearly growing” says Ulf Lindén, co-founder of LegalWorks. “We didn´t want to turn people down at the door so we actually run out of food this year. The crowd was just bigger than expected. Next year we need to look after a bigger venue.”
“Lawyers are smart people. They understand that there are changes ahead now when the digitization is moving into the legal arena. This is generating an interest to understand more about technology and also to figure out how the profession and careers will change ” says Anna Lensmar-Friedman, CEO of LegalWorks.
“We have been fortunate this year to be able to attract a number of top speakers, like Sandy Devine from Axiom, Richard Troman of Artificial Lawyer, Jimmy Vestbirk of LegalGeek and a great general counsel panel, says Leif Frykman, co-founder of LegalWorks.
